If you read this, I am sure that you saw many dating sites from all over the world. Internet helps people to find each other it is pretty good. But did you compare sites?
At first look they are alike, don't they? Russian, Italian, French, and English they seem to have the same things to offer, the same services to provide.
I will try to give you a brief classification of types of dating sites. First of all they are divided into heterosexual and alternative. Why is this the first criteria? Because at first you think about whom you want to find. Ok, let's go further. They are divided into free ones and those where you'll have to pay for the information of a person. Well, I should say it is a serious point to discuss. Some people prefer free ones because they don't want to spend money searching a friend or love. They think approximately like this: I want to find a local/distant (men/woman) to start a relation. I can find any information about this person because she/he also wants to find someone. This person is not going to make money on me and I will be make sure if he/she matches me in person, when we meet. But how many of you had a success even in arranging the first date? And how many of you were glad that you had chosen exactly this person. Not many I suppose.
On free sites you see only the information that the person wanted to leave as a message for thousands like you, you don't know whether it is true or not. May be you also noticed that all free sites are several times bigger. They contain a great deal of photos (sometimes of a bad quality, or no photo at all), and it's difficult to find a match on them. One more serious thing about them. If you want to find a local match it's ok, but if you look for a distant relation it's difficult to judge whether the person exists or not. Nowadays many people have computers, and you should remember that scammers never sleep. I know many cases when foreign men complained that they were scammed. The matter is that the information on these sites isn't checked, and any person can write anything there. As for the sites where you pay for the information I can say the following. All serious marriage agencies check their clients. They put the information in Internet only after they check the person (marital status, living place, correct data etc.) If you still don't believe that the person you've chosen exists, they can arrange a phone talk for you. If it's not enough they can arrange even videoconference, where you'll see your match in reality.
So you see that people working for people do their best to fulfill your needs. I don't say that all free sites are bad ones, but when it comes to sending money or something like this not everyone would be sure. Of course the choice of the site depends on your desire.
Decide what you really want and make your choice.
